Harley-Davidson India recently announced a BootCamp for its Associates. I was waiting for something like this and I volunteered to attend. The excitement was so palpable, that I decided to arrive in Delhi the night before the BootCamp. Needless to say that I spent a sleepless night.

More like, “A Few Copywriting Blogs; which we’re unsure whether in the top 5, or best read, or most viewed.”
None particularly crafty, praiseworthy, or enthusiasm-generating. Most fail to be literally appealing. A humourous one is as rare as a reformed terrorist. All written to gain marketability (touché), to sell their ancillary product or service. Unabashedly SEO.
But hey, that’s the reason why we’re in it too. So no urge on our part towards casting the first stone. All these just…exist. And they are being recommended and reviewed nonetheless.

After more than 10 years of servicing web clients, across the globe, I have managed to quintessence, what in my experience, are red flags that I have come across while meeting with clients for web development and design.
Red flags connote danger. The business won’t happen, and if it does then there will surely be grief. Red flags have to be dealt with early in the project. Effectively.

By now, we do know that pure social networking sites
MySpace,
Orkut,
ibibo,
Fropper,
Facebook, etc, generate content [profiles, pictures, audio, video, blogs, events] and conversations [guestbook, comments, discussions, personal messaging]. These were the first wave social networking sites.

Joomla, two years ago, when I joined
Pigtail Pundits; until then, I had just some idea of creating html pages and little knowledge of CSS. No php, javascript or ajax knowledge. I was not even familiar with the languages used on the web. All I knew was that if a website had to be created, html was the way to go.
